i realised i have been updating lj scantily (is that the correct word?) these couple of months. my cameras seldom see much of the world these days; most of the time i have been indulging only my eyes. i guess i have been experiencing photo-fatigue, of sorts. i seldom see what i used to see anymore, and rolls and rolls of film have been discarded in disappointment.

anyways, i have been spending most of the past few months working hard, burning too many nights at work. the rest of the time, i'm floating happily (see above pic) and trying to catch up on some peaceful sleep 90 feet below. either that, or i'm dozing off on the beach, waking up with horrid dreams of missed deadlines (and due to poor sleeping posture, weird tan-lines). so in summary it has been mostly working like a dog and sleeping everywhere (also like a dog).

of late: peeling skin / water perpetually lodged in ears / blisters on toes from fin-rubs.
every night i sleep with the phantom sensation of floating in the water.
i have never been happier.
